A few words from the pack:

This presentation contains stamps and miniature sheets from the Pitcairn Islands issued to commemorate the historical HMAV Bounty.

The images created from the Bounty replicas in Australia and the USA help re-create the mystique of the Bounty, the Mutiny and Bligh and Christian, and all contribute to the Pitcairn Islands of today. 

The late Roy Clarke, a former resident of note on Pitcairn summed all of this up when he wrote:

"I love Pitcairn, and would gladly yield up my life to preserve its freedom that our forefathers created out of chaos and rebellion, so that the future offspring of our children can ever enjoy what our forbears left us."
