Mauryan Cast Copper, Vidarbha region, (c. 3rd-2nd c BC), Copper Karshapana, Obv: Hollow cross, Rev: Three arched hill, a bold square copper coin cast by the ministers of Ashoka in Vidarbha area of Pavani and Bhandara. These coins are published in the Numismatic Digest by Dr C S Gupta. There is a large stupa at Pavani where an Ashokan edict and such coins have been discovered, 10.24 Gms, Very Fine, Rare.
