They are part of the withdrawn Moroccan Dirham banknotes series. The Bank Al-Maghrib started issuing these 20 Moroccan Dirham banknotes in 1996. They were withdrawn from circulation in 2016.
This twenty dirhams note depicts Hassan II, Moroccan King. On the paper bill a caption reads ‘Bank Al-Maghrib’. On the front of the 20 MAD note is the Great Mosque of Casablanca. On the back of the note is a fountain.
