The Bank of Russia issued Russian Ruble banknotes in 10 different denominations, including this 1000 Russian Rubles banknote 1995. They are part of the old Russian Ruble banknotes series. The Bank of Russia started issuing these 1000 Russian Ruble banknotes in 1995. They were withdrawn from circulation in 1996.

The banknote of 1000 old Russian Rubles, dated 1995, features landmarks of the port city of Vladivostok. On the front side of the old 1000 Ruble note is a view of Vladivostok’s container terminal with harbor cranes, and a memorial column with a sailing ship. On the back side are two rock formations and a light house, the entrance to Vladivostok’s sea harbor.
