The Bank of Israel issued Israeli Pound banknotes in 8 different denominations, including this 50 Israeli Lirot banknote (type 1968). They are part of the obsolete Israeli Pound banknotes series. The Bank of Israel started issuing these 50 Israeli Pound banknotes in 1968. They were withdrawn from circulation in 1973.
