Details of the BANKNOTE
1st issue. Printed in Navy Blue, Bottle Green, Sky Blue and Pale Green on machine made paper with watermark: Profile portrait of King George VI to right. In the centre TEN RUPEES/ RESERVE/ BANK/ OF/ INDIA/ TEN RUPEES in six lines with figure 10 in intaglio in 3 corners of the note. The issue was withdrawn from circulation on 27th October 1957.
